Welcome to Sunrise MUCK! Sunrise is an African-based, non-anthro, non-human MUCK with a rich history; two of its three prides date back through several generations that have been fully roleplayed out, and they've been around, in one form or another, for nearly ten years. Throughout that time, the game has remained fairly small and close-knit, although new players are always welcome.
Sunrise permits characters of any species that live on the African mainland; you can play anything from a lion to a zebra, and everything in-between. Creativity is encouraged--the MUCK is home to a wide variety of characters, ranging from shamanistic leopards to evil wild dogs, and the friendly staff are always willing to help you find a niche to fit your own character into.
To connect to Sunrise, you will need to telnet in or use a client of some kind to connect to the MUCK, such as SimpleMU. It is recommended that a client be used, as it provides many functions that raw telnet does not, but it isn't necessary.
Once you've connected to the MUCK, you can type "@request" to fill out an application for a character. It's nothing strenuous, requiring only your character's name, gender, age and species, as well as relevant Out of Character information such as your email address, should your password need to be emailed to you. If, however, you still have questions after browsing the website, feel free to contact one of the wizards or staff; they're on frequently and are quite approachable.
