Sunrise is home to a diverse collection of groups, including two lion prides. Generally, each of these prides is always accepting new members, and each one is quite different from the others, giving you a wide variety to choose from when deciding where, if anywhere, you'd like to place your lion character.

While the main focus of the prides is, of course, on the leonines, not all members are lions. Some prides have non-leonine or even non-feline majordomos, scouts, healers and so on, providing unique and interesting opportunities for roleplaying within the group. Naturally, this depends on the individual pride; some of them may be exclusive to leonines. However, these differences may create interesting roleplay in and of themselves, such as in an instance of a meerkat who's grown used to being treated fairly by the local lions suddenly finding himself among cats who think he'd make an excellent after-dinner snack, or vice versa.
