____________________________________________________________ | | | Sunrise MUCK's Leonine Policy - Part 2 | |____________________________________________________________| | | | Kings and Queens | | | | Because we are a small MUCK, prides are restricted to | | be are kept in proportion to the total leonine population. | | If we have more than fifteen active Lionesses for every | | one pride, the admin will consider opening applications | | for a new pride. These Lionesses can be 'regular', | | Barbary, or White. | | | | When a new pride is ready to be created, a King is | | obviously required. However, to become a King, a Lion MUST | | progress through the full life cycle, from Cub to Adult. | | This Lion can also be 'regular', Barbary, or White. | | | | After deciding to apply for a King position, the | | Lion has a choice regarding a Queen. A King may decide to | | have a Queen for his pride or not. A PRIDE DOES NOT HAVE | | TO HAVE A QUEEN. However, if a King wishes to have a Queen | | for a new pride, that Queen must be selected before the | | new pride is created - and, like the King, must be | | approved by the Admin. | | | | If a King chooses to NOT have a Queen, realize that | | he is taking on the responsibility of the pride completely | | on his own shoulders. If this decision is made, he MAY NOT | | elect a Queen at a later time without sufficient cause. | | The King must have the approval of the Staff to do so. | | Keep this in mind. | | | | A King or Queen will automatically be dethroned if he | | or she does not connect to the Muck for 30 days without | | warning. If a King or Queen does not connect for 14 days, | | their position may be 'challenged' and another Lion or | | Lioness may take their place, subject to approval from the | | Admin. Please note that Royalty can only be dethroned | | or a Royalty position 'challenged' if said King or Queen | | GAVE NO ADVANCE NOTICE TO THE ADMIN. If advance notice is | | given with a justifiable reason, then this rule is void. | | | | ONLY a King may have a pride. No other Lions or | | Lionesses may start, or even attempt to start, an | | unauthorized pride. Also, it is the responsibility of the | | Royalty to keep their prides active. | | | | Any questions, comments, or concerns?
